Good views and dogs running

Gilberts cove is an idylic area that is a wide tidal flat. As a result at low tide it becomes a wide area for dogs to run and investigate gulls and tidal pools etc.

At lowest tide there is sometimes folks clamming out near the waters edge, and on weekends sometimes folks visiting the lighthouse. But generally it is quiet enough on weekdays for even reactive dogs to safely run around off leash and their humans to enjoy the water and the views. Craig regularly took a lawn chair and his laptop and would take calls if the meeting-ish time of a warm day lined up with low tide. (As a side note - grabbing a tide app is useful as it many places the tide changes the experience of what you can do)
