A ton of very expressive movement this event hosts dance companies and artist in residence events from significant groups typically from Toronto and Montreal. Good views and dogs running
Gilberts cove is an idylic area that is a wide tidal flat. As a result at low tide it becomes a wide area for dogs to run and investigate gulls and tidal pools etc. At lowest tide there is sometimes folks clamming out near the waters edge, and on weekends sometimes folks visiting the lighthouse. Keji (or alternate) starwalk
Central nova scotia - and state parks such as Kejimkujik - are great "dark viewing" areas. 2025-07-14 will be a new moon and should provide great night viewing. Lets plan on a road trip to a location in central Nova Scotia for a star walk - something like 10 pm to midnight. The photo below is not actually of stars :-) but is the coolest nova scotia night picture I have (and I don't have the camera or skillz to capture star photos that never do justice to a night sky anyway
